Import Your Data

You can import data from Excel files into the InsightMe App, which is available on the Google Play Store and soon on Apples App Store.

Importing might be useful if you already have Excel files of your own data or want to integrate data from other services like Google Fit, Apple Health, FitBit, My Fitness Pal, Garmin, etc.

Important: The file to import has to be formatted in a special way (an example is shown below):

  1. the first cell of each column is the label name

  2. the first column represents the date and time in the format: yyyy-MM-dd hh-mm-ss, the time is optional, as shown below

  3. all other cells can be filled with values. Here, only numbers are allowed and if decimals are needed, the decimal-separator must be a point (.)

  4. The file has to be of type ".csv" (Comma-Separated Values). For example, excel can save its spreadsheets as ".csv" files (Tutorial).
